What is this?
The Typhoon newsletter has moved to Substack. But there’s a twist.
In a two-birds-one-stone arrangement, free subscribers will get occasional updates regarding the band, Typhoon (upcoming shows, new music releases, band announcements—you know, the usual stuff), whereas a modest subscription fee will get you monthly posts from yours truly, including unreleased solo and typhoon demo tracks, recording experiments, maybe some drawings… we’ll see. Like I said, it’s a very modest subscription fee…
Simply put:
Free subscription = Typhoon Newsletter.
Paid subscription = Typhoon Newsletter + Morty Goodies.
My attention is a hot commodity, do you really deserve it?
I would never be so presumptuous!
Look, we’re trying to get off the social media apps. There’s always feel a pang of guilt every time we dump our own bucket of marketing slop into the great feeding trough of Zuckerberg et al. The hope here is that we can stay connected with a minimum of algorithmic manipulation, i.e. we send you an email, you read it if you feel like it.
So, don’t be a stranger.
